The World Animal Foundation Earth & Animal Center provides educational displays on planet and animal issues, a social meeting center for earth and animal advocates, and WAF offices. A unique nature center, the facility offers opportunities to discover and learn about all animals (wildlife, companion animals and farm animals). In addition, visitors can learn about environmental issues, compassionate living and ethical choices, and what they can do to help the earth and the animals that inhabit it. Numerous events and activities are hosted at the Center throughout the year. The Center features gardens and a meadow trail, a private dog park, a fire ring, a canine-friendly coffee cafe, and an Earth & Animal Library. Companion animals are always welcome. The Center is open to the public during open houses, special events, potlucks and by appointment.
The World Animal Foundation Animal Retirement Center houses special needs dogs and cats. In addition, WAF utilizes volunteers to provide foster homes for animals awaiting adoption. WAF works with other nonprofit animal rescue groups and provides a nationwide database of shelter animals.
World Animal Foundation's "Earth & Animals Advocate" is an online magazine featuring hundreds of articles on wild animals, farm animals, companion animals, environmental issues, compassionate living tips, veganism, and how to help advice.
